JASPER COUNTY SCHOOLS AT LOW END OF STATE ASSESSMENT/ACCOUNTABILITY SCORES

State Assessment/Accountabllity scores released December 8 show the Jasper County School System is below the state average and close to the bottom when comparing other area public schools.

**Scores are based on data from the 2015-2016 school year.

Georgia’s College and Career Ready Performance Index (CCRPI) is the State’s accountability system that was launched in 2012 to replace No Child Left Behind’s Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP).  CCRPI measures schools and school districts on a 110-point scale and is based on standardized test scores, student growth on these tests, graduation rates, and other factors.
