If you have junk to take to the landfill, the month of April is the time to do it.
The BOC is allowing all Jasper County residents to bring in their junk, including tires, to the landfill free of charge for the month of April.

The biggest threat to the county is the folks that say “Yes” to anything that is put before them.
If it were not for the taxpayer watchdog group naysayers, Jasper County would be in worse financial shape than they are now.
Think about Bear Creek Reservoir and the solid waste “project”, just to name a couple.
I wish we had some leaders that would buck the system and not just say “yes” to everything.
