- Commissioners Meeting, 1st Monday of each month, 6:00pm, Courthouse. (There are various other meetings that are only posted on the Courthouse door. You have to go by and check to keep from missing one.) May have Work Session that start at 5:00PM or other times.
- City Council, 2nd Tuesday of each month, 7:00pm, City Complex
- School Board, 3rd Tuesday of each month, 6:00pm, School Board offices
- Planning and Zoning, As needed. Watch in legal ads for any meetings.
- Joint Development Authority of Newton, Walton, Morgan & Jasper County, 4th Tuesday of each month, 7:30pm. Meet at “Moore House” near Stanton Springs entrance on Hwy 278 near I-20 exit.
