There are so many different voting days and issues this year, and they are NOT all at the same time or on the same ballot. Please print this out and save it.
Feb 19 – March 8 —Early Voting for Presidential Preference Primary (going on now) Also vote on —City Council seat (Womack, Middleton, and Strozier), — School SPLOST of $23,000,000 (yes or no)
March 4 – 8 —Candidate Qualifying for local offices
Candidates for Commissioner Districts 1, 3, 5
Candidates for School Districts 2, 4
Candidates for Magistrate Judge, Sheriff, Tax Commissioner, Clerk of Court,
Coroner, Probate Judge
**After qualifying ends, you will know who is running for these positions
March 12 —Presidential Preference Primary Election Day (see above for other items on the ballot)
April 29 – May 17 —Early Voting for Primary Election (for LOCAL offices)
May 21 ––Primary Election Day (for LOCAL offices)
June 10 – 14 –Early Voting begins for Georgia Primary Runoff if necessary
June 18 –Primary Election Runoff Day if necessary
October 15 – Nov 1 –Early Voting for General Election
November 5 —General Election for President
We will send out who is running for each office after qualifying ends March 8 at noon.
Please don’t forget to do your civic duty and VOTE in each and every election this year!
Citizens, be informed and stay informed! Only by being informed, can the citizens understand what is being done and talked about, and then press our officials to make good decisions for everyone in Jasper County.
